The centre is located near a pleasant village called Zg. Gorje pri Bledu, namely 4 kilometres away from it in direction of Pokljuka.
It is ideal for children’s holidays – winter holidays and vacationing of school and preschool children, summer and winter outdoor school as well as other extracurricular activities (such as research camps, workshops etc.) for primary and secondary schools, preparations of sports teams and training camps, family holidays etc.
From mid-December until the end of March, the centre is intended for schools and kindergartens to hold winter outdoor school or holidays, except during the New Year´s or school holidays, when we organise winter holidays for children. Skiing trips take place at surrounding ski resorts in Slovenia (Pokljuka, Mojstrana, Senožeta pri Bohinju or Krajnska Gora) or abroad (Tripoint, Višarje) while transportation is done by ski-bus where children can store their skis all the time.
Summer outdoor schools, holidays for preschool and school children, research camps and workshops can be held by kindergartens and schools from the end of March until mid-December. During summer holidays, we also organize holidays for children in the mountains.
The centre has 92 beds, arranged in 6 to 12 beds per room and offers shared toilets and bathrooms in each floor.
On the ground floor of the centre, there is a kitchen with two dining areas offering 100 seats. Guests can use TV and sound system with CD player for entertainment and other events. The multi-purpose room equipped with TV can be used as a classroom or playroom.
Next to the centre, there is a large children’s playground with equipment, an improvised field for small football and volleyball, as well as a tennis court with an artificial surface, which can also serve as a multi-purpose sports platform. Our guests can rent tennis rackets, balls, and toys free of charge.
The surroundings of the residence centre are very varied and interesting. In addition to Bled, one can also visit excursion points, such as Radovna Valley, Vintgar, Pokljuka Gorge, Zasip village and many more places reachable on foot or by bike. Guests can use a guidebook for bike tours or walks in which the routes from the centre to the surrounding attractions are described in detail.
