The Savudrija holiday home is located on the peninsula of Savudrija, stretching over more than 20.000 m2 and only 15 km away from the Slovenian-Croatian border. It is located directly by the sea, in a bay with a large private beach.
For more than 55 years, the hostel has been a perfect spot for preschool and school children spending their time at summer outdoor schools and other extracurricular activities (camps, workshops). It is also intended for preparations of sports teams.
The holiday home has 318 beds in total, distributed across two buildings:
Around the centre, there are spacious green areas with plenty of shade and space for rest and play.
The holiday home has a large playground for children, 2 basketball courts, 3 tennis courts, table tennis tables, a handball court, a mini football pitch, an asphalt volleyball court as well as a beach volleyball court.
Guests can rent all sports equipment owned by the home free of charge (rackets for tennis, table tennis and badminton, balls, field hockey sticks, swimming boards, etc.).
Guests can also enjoy our organized glass boat trips as well as fun evenings and games.
Nearby the holiday home, there is a well-kept sandy beach. Children can take a walk to landmarks of Savudrija, such as the Savudrija lighthouse and the ancient port of old Savudrija, they can visit an amusement park, Katora, Umag and saltworks museum Sečovlje or they can swim in Kanegra.
Directly next to the home, there is a well-kept beach in the bay, where the seabed is mostly covered with sand. During walks around the area, children can see the famous Savudrija lighthouse and the fishing harbour in the old Savudrija, visit an amusement park, go to Katora and Umag, explore the saltworks museum in Sečovlje, go swimming in Kanegra, etc.
